CommuniCare is seeking a physician (MD/DO) to provide primary care services in Kyle, TX. The role reports to the Director of Family Medicine FNP and involves inpatient and outpatient patient management, with responsibilities spanning diagnosis, treatment, documentation, and coordination of care.

The ideal candidate holds a US MD/DO, an active Texas license, and DEA registration, with bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.

Formación

• MD or DO degree from an accredited US medical school.
• Current unrestricted Texas medical license.
• DEA registration and other required certifications.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Examine, diagnose, treat and refer patients per physician's panel in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Maintain problem-oriented health records with timely documentation in the EHR.
• Ensure continuity of care and timely provision of medical services.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialty care, labs, imaging and other services.
• Supervise students and clinical staff; participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
• Attend clinic and department meetings and engage in quality improvement activities.
