The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking full-time and part-time Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Primary Care Physicians to join the Friedman Health Center for The Performing Arts, a Mount Sinai practice operated in partnership with the Entertainment Community Fund (formally known as the Actors Fund) serving New York’s vibrant performing arts community; one should poses a passion for the theaters.
The Friedman Health Center for the Performing Arts is the medical care provider for New York City's entertainment and performing arts community. While working in conjunction with several other PCPs and specialists, as well as administrative staff members, the ideal candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. In addition, we would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for primary care, the arts and be fully committed to mission of Mount Sinai Health System.
The Entertainment Community Fund fosters stability and resiliency, and provides a safety net for performing arts and entertainment professionals over their lifespan.
The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to partner with world renowned, Icahn School of Medicine as well as The Entertainment Community Fund, supporting a life in the arts.. Mount Sinai’s Department of Medicine is strongly committed to caring for the whole patient and places special emphasis on providing patient-centered care. The division embraces the mission of Icahn School of Medicine by pursuing an integrative approach to patient care, research, and education. Responsibilities
Position Description:
- University affiliated; community based practice
- Collaborate with multi-specialty practice colleagues as an integral part of a world-class health system

- Minimal on call responsibilities
- Fully integrated Electronic Health Record
- Additional support staff
- Part-time (Saturday coverage required)
- Compensation range from 220K to 240K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
- Opportunity to work in office preferred but negotiable. Friday’s, Saturday’s, Sunday’s and Monday’s with flexible telehealth hours from home during the week.
Qualifications
Position Qualifications:
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- New York Medical License
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Committed to serving the community
- Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
- A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team setting
Salary Disclosure Information
Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
