BJC Medical Group is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join their Primary Care Clinic in Edwardsville, IL, a growing community located just 30 minutes outside of St. Louis, MO.

Located inside the BJC Outpatient at Edwardsville, patients have access to a brand new facility with BJC physicians and advanced practice providers focused on providing high-quality patient care. The experienced physicians offer general wellness visits, sick visits, and preventative health services for patients of all ages.

Position Highlights:

  2. 100% Outpatient Practice
  3. No after-hours call

  5. 36 patient-facing hours per week

Compensation & Benefits:
  1. High earning potential, with workload flexibility
  2. Salary range: $270,000 - $300,000
  3. Two-year guarantee followed by a wRVU-based compensation model
  4. Residency stipend available
  5. Up to $125,000 in student loan reimbursement
  6. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance
  7. CME allowance and time off

Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose

The physician will deliver professional medical services within their specialty through direct patient care, completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations, managing inbasket messages, conducting patient education, and collaborating with care team members including advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the medical care of their patient panel, including inpatient hospital care through rounds or coordination with hospitalists, ensuring compliance with Medical Staff requirements.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and care team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes at designated clinic and outreach locations.
  • Perform and document medical histories and physicals in accordance with hospital bylaws.
  • Provide or arrange call coverage for clinic and inpatient care, adhering to BJC policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with and teach advanced practice providers and support staff involved in patient care.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position; the ability to work alert and safely at all times is essential.
