BJC Medical Group is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our growing team based on the campus of Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois. Belleville is just 30 minutes from Downtown St. Louis. We offer residency stipends, student loan repayment assistance, and a signing bonus.

Practice Highlights:
  • 36 clinical hours per week (half day off every week!)

Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose

Ensures optimal care and promotes patient safety in cooperation with private attending staff and nursing staff. Communicates effectively with staff, patients, and families.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the medical care of assigned patients.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.
  • Perform and document histories and physicals in the patient's medical record as required by hospital bylaws.
  • Supervise and instruct medical students and residents assigned to the service. Assist in their learning needs as assessed.
Minimum Requirements

Education: Doctorate in Medicine

Experience: 2-5 years

Supervisory Experience: No experience required

Licenses & Certifications: Licensed Physician
