Qualifications

• Board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
• Active Idaho medical license to practice.
• ID Controlled Substance Registration.
• DEA registration.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.
• MD/DO degree from an accredited university.
• Background checks conducted.

Responsibilities

• Maintains positive peer relationships and works as a team.
• Plans and prioritizes to comply with attendance policies.
• Provides excellent customer service and information to patients.
• Works independently with attention to detail and meets deadlines.
• Coordinates formulary use with pharmacy to prevent medication errors.
• Records clinic audit information during patient appointments.
• Ensures all patients are seen by day’s end.
• Arrives by opening or within 10 minutes; stays until 6:00 PM unless directed otherwise.
• Verifies nursing documentation in the EHR.
• Participates in periodic peer reviews of charts and events.
• Attends meetings and committees as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
