The position requires an MD or DO, board certification in Family Medicine, and active state licensure, with DEA, BLS and ACLS credentials.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• 3 years residency training in Family Medicine.
• Current unrestricted State Medical License.
• Board certification in Family Medicine.
• Current State D.E.A. Certificate.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Advanced English required; Spanish and Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments of patients.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
• Provide routine check-ups and preventive care services.
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyles, screenings, and immunizations.
• Manage chronic conditions and coordinate care with specialists.
• Foster open communication with families and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide initial stabilization.
