About the facility

An Outpatient Mental Health Facility is seeking a Family Medicine Physician Associate for locum tenens coverage.

About the clinician's workday

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with a credentialing timeframe of 1 to 5 weeks. There is no call required. The provider will see 810 adult male patients per day, handling injury treatment, acute illnesses, follow-ups, physicals, mental health within a corrections setting, chronic care, diabetes management, and H&Ps. Candidates must have a Florida license, Florida DEA, and BLS certification. Family Medicine or Internal Medicine backgrounds are welcome. The provider will be supported by onsite MAs, RNs, and MDs. The facility uses paper charts with HCS for prescribing.
