Summary:

The Department of Family and Community Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) seeks a primary care provider faculty member to join our team, dedicated to serving diverse and underserved populations in Houston and Harris County. Opportunities include participating in medical education and research, supporting medical students, and engaging in academic activities. This position provides direct patient care at the Casa de Amigos Health Center, with access to specialty care providers in OB/GYN, ophthalmology, and psychiatry to enhance patient outcomes.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities include providing pediatric and adult care, medical student education, and clinical research participation. Emphasis on evidence-based medicine and outcome analysis is essential.

This is a non-tenured clinical track faculty position offering a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and the prestige of working at a distinguished institution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: M.D. or D.O.
  • Experience: Residency training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine; no prior practice experience required.
  • Licensing: Texas Medical Board license required; Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine; a four-year grace period from residency graduation to pass boards is allowed.
