Join Our Team as a Family Medicine Physician Assistant in Cedar Falls, IA

UnityPoint Health is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician Assistant to join our residency program at Prairie Parkway in Waterloo/Cedar Falls, Iowa.

This position offers the opportunity to work within a well-established family medicine residency, training future physicians while providing comprehensive primary care in a collaborative environment.

Position Highlights

• Location: Cedar Falls, IA, at the Prairie Parkway Medical Campus
• Part of a team of 9 residents and 3 faculty members
• Full-time, with a 4-day work week and no call requirements
• Clinic hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with extended hours until 7:00 PM on Wednesdays
• Supportive, collaborative environment with primary and specialty care providers

Responsibilities

• Provide full scope primary care, including acute and chronic conditions
• Support same-day patient access and follow-up care
• Participate in a team-oriented, patient-centered approach to healthcare

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant with current, unrestricted license in Iowa
• Board Certified
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and hold federal and state prescribing authority
