Job Details

Title: Physician Assistant

Reports To: Medical Doctor

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care under supervision of a Physician.
  • Perform clinical assessments and evaluate patient conditions.
  • Prescribe and monitor medications and follow-up care.
  • Provide treatments using therapeutic equipment.
  • Educate patients and families.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of care staff.
  • Coordinate patient care, monitor documentation, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Perform emergency treatments and practice safety, infection control methods.
  • Perform related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid Physician Assistant license from the California Physician's Assistants Examining Committee of the Medical Board of California, required at application and maintained during employment.
  • Experience in community-based public health programs or clinics serving the community.
Skills and Physical Demands

Must be able to read, analyze, interpret technical and regulatory documents, write reports, and effectively communicate with groups. The physical demands include standing, walking, talking, using hands, reaching, climbing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and having visual acuity.

Schedule and Compensation

Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, day shifts. Pay ranges from $65.00 to $78.00 per hour. Benefits include 401(k), health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and flexible scheduling.

Additional Requirements
  • Relocate to Downey, CA 90240 before starting work.
