CovenantCare Practices seeks a dedicated Family Medicine Physician (MD or DO) to join our physician-led clinical team across our three clinics in Clarksville (Sango and Hilldale) and Dover, Tennessee.

You will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, supervise mid-level clinicians, and help maintain patient continuity within our network while collaborating with local specialists and hospitals. 2+ years outpatient experience and a Tennessee license/DEA are required.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO from an accredited medical program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (ABFM or ABOFP).
• Active Tennessee license or eligible; DEA registration.
• 2+ years outpatient primary care experience preferred.
• Experience supervising/collaborating with APPs is a plus.

Position Overview

As one of our long-standing physicians prepares for retirement, we are seeking a dedicated, patient-centered Family Medicine Physician (MD or DO) to join our physician-led clinical team.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care while serving as a Collaborating / Supervising Physician for our team of Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs). You will play a central role in delivering high-quality, outpatient medicine in a supportive environment backed by a seasoned clinical and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide broad-spectrum outpatient family medicine care, including preventive care, adult medicine, pediatric wellness, chronic disease management, and minor in-office procedures.
• Serve as the collaborating/supervising physician for mid-level clinicians (Advanced Practice Providers), offering chart reviews, clinical consultation, and mentorship.
• Maintain patient continuity within a "one practice, one chart" framework across our Middle Tennessee clinic network.
• Collaborate with local specialist networks and hospitals for seamless patient referrals when necessary.
• Participate in practice quality improvement and clinical workflow optimization.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (ABFM or ABOFP).
• Active (or eligible for) unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Tennessee.
• Active DEA registration.
• Experience: 2+ years of outpatient primary care experience preferred; experience supervising/collaborating with APPs is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, clinical leadership, and a commitment to independent, community-focused patient care.
