The Department of Family Medicine at Mayo Clinic Health System - Franciscan Healthcare in Sparta, WI is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our practice.

Position Details:

A Family Medicine Physician is needed to join the department at the Sparta Campus (Clinic and Hospital). This dynamic practice is known for its innovation and commitment to continuous improvements in primary care. The practice includes outpatient and inpatient services.

Inpatient Work:

Utilizes a hospital rounding model shared equally among family physicians (1:6). Family physicians provide one week of inpatient unit coverage and ED back-up for admissions. The ED is staffed 24/7 by Mayo Clinic Health System Emergency Medicine Physicians.

Facility and Services:

The Sparta Campus combines clinic and hospital services within one facility, equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic radiology and lab services. The 25-bed, Joint Commission Accredited, critical access hospital offers same-day surgery, telemetry with cardiac monitoring, and other ancillary services.

The hospital has been recognized as one of the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation for quality. Outreach services from our La Crosse Campus include specialties such as Audiology, ENT, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Occupational Medicine, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Urology.
