Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a locum opportunity in Porterville, CA. The role focuses on outpatient care with a Monday–Friday schedule and options for 8- or 9-hour shifts.

Approximately 24 patients are seen per day, with credentialing within 30 days and malpractice insurance provided. Must hold a California medical license, be board certified or eligible, and have BLS and DEA certifications.

• DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient family medicine care for a diverse patient population.
• See approximately 24 patients per day.
• Schedule: 5x8 shifts or 4x9 shifts, Monday–Friday.
• Credentialing timeframe: 30 days or less.

• State Licensure: California State medical license, Board Certified or Eligible, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days or less
