Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for locum tenens support in Iowa. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with eight hours per day and lunch break; coverage approved for 90 days after credentialing. Position is outpatient with 16–20 patients per day, using Epic EMR.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine and Basic Life Support are required. Credentialing typically takes 45–120 days; AMN provides travel, lodging, and transportation support and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Outpatient Family Medicine practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient family medicine care.
• Manage patient load of 16–20 patients per day.
• Document care using Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure patient flow.
