Job Summary
The duties of the Physician position include, but are not limited to, providing diagnosis, treatment, consultation, education, and follow-up care to adult patients, maintaining accurate records, acting as the Supervisory Physician of Mid-level Providers and Residents as required, and other duties as assigned.

Primary Functions

• Perform histories, physicals, and prescribe diagnostic, educational, preventive, and treatment plans within accepted medical standards.
• Order labs, diagnostic procedures, and make appropriate referrals.
• Maintain patient records and adhere to proper charting protocols.
• Coordinate ongoing medical care for patients.
• Advise patients on health, diet, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Administer vaccinations and perform minor surgeries as necessary.
• Report deaths and contagious diseases to authorities.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Doctoral degree (M.D. or D.O.) in medicine.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• At least 2 years of clinical teaching experience.
• Current Florida medical license in good standing.
• Board certification.
