Baldwin is a quiet, rural town in the northwestern part of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. It is the county seat of Lake County and is the hub for outdoor enthusiasts who flock to this natural paradise for boating, hiking, cycling, fishing, hunting, and off-road vehicle recreation. The Pere Marquette River, one of the finest trout rivers in the Midwest, draws anglers from around the world for its trophy salmon and steelhead. Baldwin is located just 40 minutes from the sandy beaches and dunes of Lake Michigan in the popular beachfront community of Ludington and is about 90 minutes from Grand Rapids.
