Primary Care & Preventive HealthProvide comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals across the lifespanDiagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions common in primary carePromote wellness through preventive screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counselingPatient Communication & EducationBuild lasting relationships through compassionate, clear communicationEducate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategiesSupport shared decision-making and culturally competent careCare Coordination & Team CollaborationWork closely with nurses, specialists, and care coordinators to ensure seamless, integrated careParticipate in interdisciplinary case discussions and quality initiativesRefer patients to appropriate specialty or ancillary services when neededClinical Documentation & ComplianceMaintain accurate and timely electronic medical records in accordance with legal and regulatory standardsDocument clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plansEnsure adherence to coding, billing, and compliance guidelinesDiagnostics & Office-Based ProceduresOrder, interpret, and act upon lab results, imaging, and other diagnostic testsPerform common in-office procedures such as skin biopsies, joint injections, and basic wound careMonitor response to treatment and adjust plans as clinically appropriateContinuous Learning & Quality ImprovementStay current with evidence-based guidelines and advancements in primary careEngage in continuing medical education and clinical quality improvement initiativesContribute to the development of protocols and best practices within the practice
