Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Family Medicine Physician in Fort Worth, TX to join a premier national physician group focused on wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. This no-call, Monday–Friday role offers clinical autonomy, hands-on procedures, and a path to leadership in wound care initiatives.

You’ll perform debridement and bedside procedures with full training provided, manage chronic wounds, and work within a collaborative post-acute care setting for patients healing

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.

• Average Annual Earnings: $200,000–250,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)
• High Achievers: Top performers earn $300,000+ through performance bonuses
• Pay Structure: Per‑patient and per‑procedure pay, plus quarterly bonus programs

Family Medicine Schedule

• Part‑Time: 2–3 days per week
• Full‑Time: 4–5 days per week

Family Medicine Physician Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
