Job summary

Community Health Center of Buffalo Inc. in Buffalo, NY seeks a Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care in a Federally Qualified Health Center setting.

The Family Medicine Physician provides comprehensive primary care services to patients and manages acute and chronic medical conditions. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate physical and psycho-social health status via medical history and physical examination.
• Diagnose and treat medical conditions within the Family Medicine specialty.
• Interpret diagnostic tests, consultations, and recommend therapeutic measures.
• Provide education and preventive healthcare.
• Offer clinical direction to healthcare team members.
• Adhere to clinical policies, infection control principles, and confidentiality standards.
• Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance activities.
• Direct and evaluate medical students.

Qualifications:

• Medical license registration certificate for the state of New York.
• DEA license registration certificate for the state of New York.
• Computer literacy including proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

• American Board Certification.
• Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
• CFP Authorization Number under NYS Worker’s Compensation.
• Hospital Privileges.
• Professional Membership Affiliations.

Physical Demands:

This role requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping. Evening work along with some Saturdays may be required.

Salary Range:

$190,000 - $200,000.
