Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Austin, MN is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Family Medicine Physician to join a collegial department in a Mayo Clinic Health System setting. This outpatient-focused role includes inpatient pediatric/newborn call coverage and optional OB/prenatal care, with a 4½ workday minimum and adult call by phone.

The attached hospital features 32 beds, 4 ICU, and 10 nursery, within a multispecialty practice.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
• MN Medical License or eligible to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient practice with inpatient pediatric/newborn call coverage of 1:12.
• OB (non-surgical deliveries) and prenatal care are optional.
• 4 ½ workday minimum.
• Adult call 1:45 by phone.
• Attached hospital with 32 beds, 4 ICU, 10 nursery.

Compensation Detail

The minimum starting salary for primary care specialties may range from $231,000 to $319,117. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
