Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment is assisting a hospital in Richmond, Indiana, to recruit a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine physician with pediatric care experience for a full-time, hospital-employed role.

The outpatient practice supports a multidisciplinary team and offers a collaborative environment with four physicians, two NPs, and comprehensive support staff. Newly trained physicians are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or IM/Peds required/expected.
• Indiana medical license or eligibility through IMLC required.
• Basic Life Support certification required; ACLS if conscious sedation privileges needed.
• Newly trained physicians welcome; no minimum years of experience stated.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care within a team-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adults and pediatric patients.
• Perform physical exams and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Obtain and document comprehensive medical histories.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and preventive care.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and clinic staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with clinical standards.
