Bon Secours Hartfield Medical Center in Virginia's beautiful Northern Neck is adding a Family Nurse Practitioner to the team! The team is OPEN to newly graduated NP's!

Hartfield is an hour to the capital of Richmond and rich with history and charm. The town itself has a variety of businesses, restaurants, shopping centers, parks, and recreation areas. There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, boating and biking. You can also explore nearby lakes, rivers and the Chesapeake Bay for a day trip or longer excursions. Residents enjoy spending time in the vibrant downtown filled with shops, eateries and galleries. The community is friendly and welcoming to all its residents. Hartfield, VA is an enjoyable experience that provides both convenience and leisure for its residents.

• This is a .8 position - less than full time - approx 30 hours of patient-facing time plus admin time - full benefits
• Work schedule to be discussed with practice
• Practice hours are M-F 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM - closed weekends
• Our team includes 2 MDs and this is a replacement NP position.
• Tremendous volume in the practice, so anticipate new NP will become busy quickly. They will be absorbing overflow panel in the practice and take sick visits and new patients.
• New NP will manage their own panel of patients, provide in-office care including office visits, assist with minor procedures, share in responsibility of after-hours call rotation.
• Call is shared by 4 Bon Secours practices and will be 1 week approximately every 9 weeks
• Average patients per day after ramp-up period is 18 - 20
• 10% peds, 25% adult, 65% geriatric
• EPIC EMR - telehealth/e-visits through MyChart
• Dedicated 1:1 CMA or LPN support, plus referral coordinator and assistance with prior authorizations provided by clinical staff
• Diabetes Educators visit Rappahannock General Hospital monthly
• 3 Patient Service Representatives and Practice Administrator
• Teaching Opportunities - We are open to providing preceptorship for NP students - but this is voluntary for our team
• Our team is kind, respectful and supportive of our patients and each other. We cover for each other when needed. This is a close-knit community and we have great relationships with our patients and each other.
• Provider will be expected to close charts same day.

Bon Secours Mercy Health offers a robust benefit package which includes the following: Medical/Dental/Vision/Life available 1st of the month following the date of hire. Company-paid short/long term disability begins after 6 months. We have a FSA and pay for life insurance, liability/malpractice coverage, and offer up to $5,000 in relocation reimbursement (a taxable benefit) for any provider who relocates 50+ miles for the position. 403b for retirement savings with a % match eligible immediately. Allowable Time Off (ATO) is up to 32 days annually, which includes 6 holidays. Time off is front-loaded not accrued, and prorated for less than full year. CME allowance $3,000 annually. Paid Parental Time Off for birth or adoption up to 8 weeks.
