HHM Health in Mesquite, TX is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan, collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams. This full-time role offers a salary range of $105,000 to $120,000 annually, plus benefits and CME support.

The FNP will conduct assessments, diagnose illnesses, order tests, develop care plans, and promote preventive care in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• BSN/MSN with active Texas NP license.
• DEA, DPS and related credentials to practice in Texas.
• FNP-BC or FNP‑C certification is a plus.
• Experience in primary care or outpatient settings preferred.
• Strong patient engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Full‑Time, Professional Position – Dallas, TX, US.

Salary Range: $105,000.00 to $120,000.00 annually.

Location: Mesquite, TX (4550 Gus Thommason Rd. Ste. 40 Mesquite TX 75150).

We are seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner with a passion for service excellence to join our Family Medicine Healthcare team in the Mesquite area. The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) provides comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients across the lifespan, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care. The FNP collaborates with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care while promoting wellness and disease prevention.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses across all age groups.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and scope of practice.
• Provide preventive healthcare services, including immunizations, screenings, and health education.
• Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and obesity.
• Counsel patients and families on disease prevention, nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and wellness strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Qualifications

• BSN/MSN from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent; current advanced practice license to practice in Texas.
• Registered and have current DEA, DPS and other certificates required to legally operate as a practitioner in Texas.
• National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC or FNP‑C) is a plus.
• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas.
• Experience in primary care, family medicine, community health, or outpatient settings preferred.
• Excellent patient engagement and communication skills.
• Experience in community health centers and/or non‑profits is preferred.
• Experience serving multicultural and multilingual patient populations.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar.
• MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
