Lifepoint Health is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join Independence Family Care in Independence, Virginia, in a hospital-employed outpatient setting. You will care for an established patient panel in a rural community and participate in after-hours call on a 1:7 rotation.

The role supports a Monday–Friday schedule with potential for a four-day workweek; Friday coverage is required. A strong emphasis is placed on autonomy and community care within Lifepoint Health.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner with autonomous practice authority in Virginia.
• Outpatient primary care with established patient demand (approx 20 per day).

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care at Independence Family Care in Independence, VA.
• Participate in shared after-hours clinic call (1:7).
• Maintain a Monday–Friday schedule with potential for a four-day workweek; Friday coverage required.
