Saint Alphonsus Health System's 12th Avenue Family Medicine Clinic in South Nampa, Idaho is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant to support a new physician and the clinic team.

You will perform phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, minor procedures, and various tests while maintaining patient-focused care. The ideal candidate has MA experience in family medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, internal medicine, or urgent care and strong communication with elderly patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire.
• MA certification required within 90 days of hire from approved Saint Alphonsus agencies.
• New Graduates: MA certificate of completion or externship/6 months MA experience in lieu of externship hours.
• Medical Assistant with Experience: 1 year MA experience or current MA Certification or renew within 90 days from hire.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) required at hire.
• EMT and CNA certifications will not count toward an MA certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, and prep injections.
• Set up and assist with minor procedures and tests.
• Complete POC and orders in the task inbox.
• Communicate effectively with elderly patients and be a team player.
• Epic experience is a plus.
