Essentia Health in Brainerd, MN seeks a licensed practical nurse (LPN) or certified medical assistant (CMA) to support the Family Practice team at Brainerd Clinic. The role runs 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a flexible day off and no weekend or on-call shifts.

The position offers a $2,500 sign-on incentive, opportunities for growth, and a comprehensive benefits package. Licensure, BCLS, and ongoing certification requirements apply, with a patient-focused ambulatory care

Qualifications

• LPN license with Minnesota Board of Nursing or CMA certification required.
• Must pass certification within two attempts for CMA path.
• AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 3 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assist RN, physician, and other providers in ambulatory care.
• Perform routine assessments and measure vitals.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other professionals.
• Conduct initial patient intake and prepare patients for examinations.
