Job summary

DePaul Community Health Centers in Louisiana seeks a full-time Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician to provide comprehensive medical care in a clinic setting. You will manage acute and chronic illnesses, collaborate with in-house specialists, and coordinate patient health management using EMR systems.

The role emphasizes team-based care, preventive and curative services, and ongoing patient education.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited university; LA license active or eligible.
• Current DEA certification.
• BLS certification; ACLS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient care in clinic and coordinate with departments.
• Perform histories, physical exams, and prescribe treatment.
• Develop treatment plans with patients and provide education.
• Provide internal/external referrals to specialists.
• Use EMR and manage lab results, reports, and renewals.
• Monitor outcomes and ensure risk and compliance.
