Dignity Health Medical Group in Maricopa, AZ seeks a Family Medicine Core Faculty Physician for the Creighton East Valley Family Medicine Residency Program. Join a rural/underserved track with outpatient and inpatient teaching, academic appointment, and strong MA/RN support.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine physician.
• Active or eligible AZ medical license.
• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
• Ability to obtain hospital privileges at Dignity Health AZ hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient teaching service coverage and/or Family Medicine Obstetrics.
• Outpatient schedule: Mon–Fri with dedicated non-clinical teaching time per ACGME requirements.
• Flexibility to work 4 longer days or 5 regular days.
• On-call 1:4 or less (telephone only; residents are first call).
• Outpatient: 16 patient-facing hours, 16 precepting hours, 4 admin hours, 4 teaching hours weekly.
• Inpatient: every 4th week or less; 1 week x 7 days with compensation days.
• Average 18–24 patients per outpatient day with strong MA and RN support.
• Academic appointment at Creighton University School of Medicine, Phoenix; rank based on experience and output.
• Teach medical students, PA students, and other learners.
• Opportunity to participate in sponsor- and investigator-initiated research.
