The role combines direct patient care with teaching, supervision, and mentorship of residents across the full scope of practice, including obstetrics, in a collaborative academic environment. Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
• Active state medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Experience or strong interest in teaching and supervising residents.
• Comfort practicing full scope Family Medicine including obstetrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a family medicine continuity clinic.
• Supervise and mentor residents in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Precept residents regularly to support clinical skill development.
• Participate in clinical sessions with resident supervision 3–4 half-days per week.
• Provide inpatient attending coverage several times per year.
• Perform and supervise Family Medicine procedures, including obstetrics as applicable.
• Engage in resident education through didactics and curriculum development.
• Contribute to scholarly activities, quality improvement, and academic program development.
• Collaborate with faculty, residents, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain high-quality, patient-centered care across preventive, acute, and chronic conditions.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with standards.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, in-person (clinical + academic)

We are seeking a Family Medicine Faculty Physician to join a mission-driven academic outpatient healthcare organization with an affiliated Family Medicine residency program. This role combines direct patient care with teaching, supervision, and mentorship of family medicine residents across the full scope of practice, including obstetrics. Faculty physicians work in a collaborative academic environment alongside residents, faculty colleagues, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
