Job summary

Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM, invites a Family Medicine Faculty physician to join Lifepoint Health's community-based team. You will balance clinical teaching and patient care in a 199-bed hospital with an established residency program.

The ideal candidate is Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine, proficient in inpatient medicine and obstetrics, and passionate about mentoring the next generation of physicians.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
• Proficiency in inpatient medicine and obstetrics is required.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians.
• Interest or experience in curriculum development and program growth is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of outpatient primary care, office procedures, precepting, didactic teaching, and resident mentoring.
• 70% teaching/administrative time and 30% clinical practice.
• Provide full-spectrum family medicine care, including inpatient medicine and obstetric skills.
• Contribute to curriculum development and residency program growth.

• Community hospital; unopposed program
• Established residency program with 7 core faculty physicians

• Interest in geriatric care is desired but not required
