Job summary

Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Family Medicine Faculty physician to lead and teach within its established residency program. The role emphasizes a 70% teaching/administrative focus and 30% clinical practice in full-spectrum family medicine, including inpatient care and obstetric skills.

The ideal candidate is board-certified/board-eligible in Family Medicine, proficient in inpatient medicine and obstetrics, and passionate about mentoring the next

• Proficiency in inpatient medicine and obstetrics is required.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians.
• Interest or experience in curriculum development and program growth is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of outpatient primary care, office procedures, precepting, didactic teaching, and resident mentoring.
• 70% teaching/administrative time and 30% clinical practice.
• Full-spectrum family medicine care, including inpatient medicine and obstetric skills.

• Community hospital; unopposed program

• Established residency program with 7 core faculty physicians

• Oversight of outpatient primary care, office procedures, precepting, didactic teaching, and resident mentoring

• 70% teaching/administrative time and 30% clinical practice

• Full-spectrum family medicine care, including inpatient medicine and obstetric skills

• Interest in geriatric care is desired but not required
