Job summary

Genie Matthews and Associates in Georgia invites passionate physicians to join our Family Medicine Residency Program Faculty Development Fellowship, designed for those pursuing leadership in medical education. The fellowship targets experienced family medicine physicians or recent graduates eager to teach, develop curricula, and advance academic careers. Schedule is Monday-Friday 8 a.m.

- 5 p.m. with clinic, precepting, and dedicated GME time; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency Program by the start date.
• Board certified or board eligible by ABFM or AOBFM.
• Valid Georgia Medical License or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
• Good standing with current employer or residency/fellowship program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Actively engage in resident education through precepting, delivering didactic lectures, and collaborating on program initiatives.
• Contribute to the development and innovation of graduate medical education curricula.
• Supervise residents in prenatal, postpartum, inpatient care, and low-risk obstetrics.
• Participate in a structured Faculty Development Curriculum, including online coursework with ongoing feedback.
