Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond seeks an Education Program Manager for the Family Medicine Department. 80% on-campus with some evening/weekend engagements, to develop and direct student education programs and curricula.

The role supports the medical education mission, collaborates with faculty across the Commonwealth, and assists with research and publications. A strong background in education administration and budget management is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s with significant education/training experience.
• Experience supporting medical education or higher education programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fmSTAT admission process, student placement and mentoring programs.
• Organize fmConnect advising for M3/M4 students and coordinate residency guidance.
• Manage departmental budgets and scholarship processes with the team.
• Support recruitment of clinicians for clerkships and electives.
• Assist with data reporting on match outcomes and educational research.
• Prepare presentations and publications for scholarly work.
