Job summary

The Family Medicine Core Faculty position at Omega Recruiting in Georgia offers a full-time role within a community-based teaching hospital. You will teach residents, participate in curriculum development, and provide outpatient continuity care in a modern clinic setting.

Ideal candidates have GME or teaching experience but this is not required; expect a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM with protected time for education and opportunities in low-risk obstetrics and inpatient care.

Qualifications

• Full-time Family Medicine Core Faculty position
• Ideal candidate has prior GME or teaching experience, but not required
• Monday–Friday schedule, 8 AM – 5 PM
• Weekly structure includes 2 clinic days, 1 precepting day, and GME administrative time
• No overnight call unless optional OB or inpatient adult medicine coverage
• Provide full-spectrum FM continuity care in outpatient clinic
• Teach and supervise residents through precepting, didactic lectures, curriculum development, program innovation and scholarly collaboration
• Opportunities to teach and supervise residents in low-risk obstetrics and inpatient care

Responsibilities

• Provide resident education and supervision through lectures and precepting
• Develop and implement FM curriculum and program innovations
• Collaborate on scholarly activities with residents
• Teach in low-risk obstetrics and inpatient care as opportunities arise
