Job summary

Summa Health seeks a dedicated Family Medicine Core Faculty physician to join the Akron or Barberton Residency Programs. You will educate residents and provide clinical care within our large, multispecialty system.

MD or DO required; board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine; unrestricted Ohio license or willingness to obtain one. Strong communication and teaching skills expected; EPIC EMR experience a plus.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Certification in Family Medicine or eligibility.
• Unrestricted Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Educate and train Family Medicine residents in Akron and Barberton programs.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical care within a multispecialty system.
• Engage in teaching activities, lectures, and faculty development.
• Collaborate with care teams and support resident scholarship.
