Job summary

University of Maryland School of Medicine seeks a full-time Clinician-Educator within the Department of Family and Community Medicine.

The candidate will lead educational programs for medical students and residents, recruit and retain community-based preceptors, and contribute to medical education scholarship while delivering comprehensive patient care at the University Family Medicine practice in Baltimore.

Qualifications

• MD degree from a recognized institution (domestic or foreign).
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.
• Unrestricted Maryland medical license eligibility or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active outpatient clinical practice in family medicine with possible on-call and home-call duties.
• Teach and supervise medical students and residents in clinical settings.
• Engage in scholarly activity, departmental conferences, and educational initiatives.
