Job summary

Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio invites applicants for Family Medicine Assistant Program Director in our 7-7-7 Community Based/University-Affiliated Residency Program. The role includes training residents and medical students, developing and revising curricula, and delivering high quality outpatient care in an FQHC environment.

In addition, you will supervise on the inpatient teaching service 6–7 times per year and engage in scholarly activity to advance medical education and patient care.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine required.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in Ohio.
  • Prenatal care experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Train residents and medical students and oversee curricula.
  • Develop, monitor, and revise the residency curricula.
  • Provide high quality outpatient care in an FQHC environment.
  • Supervise inpatient teaching service 6–7 times annually.

Family Medicine Assistant Program Director
Aultman Hospital - Canton, Ohio

We are seeking a family medicine core faculty member for our 7-7-7 Community Based/University-Affiliated Family Medicine Residency Program in Canton, OH. The position includes training residents and students, developing, monitoring, and revising the curricula, providing high quality outpatient care in an FQHC environment, supervision on our inpatient teaching service 6-7 times annually, and scholarly activity.

We provide care to a diverse patient population in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient in a FQHC, local health department, and migrant health clinic. We have graduates from over 50 years practicing in various settings throughout the country and abroad.

Qualifications
  1. MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
  2. Board Certification in Family Medicine
  3. Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Ohio
  4. Prenatal care experience is desired
