The Department of Family & Community Medicine at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is currently recruiting a Behavioral Health faculty member in Hershey, PA.

The Behavioral Health faculty member will support the directors of the Family and Community Medicine Residency Program, which includes 24 residents. Responsibilities include developing the behavioral health components of the residency program, including wellness and behavioral health curriculum.

The successful candidate will join a team of over 100 providers across ten regional practice sites. Our facilities offer a clean, friendly, fast-paced, and busy clinical environment, fostering collaboration among various specialty service lines. Faculty members participate in resident and medical student education and have opportunities for research and scholarship. Clinical duties include outpatient and inpatient experiences tailored to professional interests.

What We’re Seeking:

  • MD, DO, or foreign equivalent
  • Ability to obtain Pennsylvania medical license
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Advanced counseling skills (individual and group)
  • Knowledge of medical education, social determinants of health, professionalism, wellness, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with Family Medicine residents or medical students
