Job summary

Navy Recruiting Command is seeking an FM Physician to join as a Medical Corps Officer on active duty. This full-time, in-person role focuses on delivering comprehensive primary care to service members and their families across various locations in the United States.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified in Family Medicine is expected.
• Experience delivering comprehensive primary care in a military or high-demand setting is a plus.
• Ability to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions in a primary care setting.
• Strong emphasis on preventive care and routine health screenings.

Location: Full-Time in person position. Not a remote or telemedicine position. Nationwide.

Responsibilities: Family Medicine Physicians in the Navy provide comprehensive primary care for service members and their families, addressing a wide range of medical needs. You will diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic conditions, offer preventive care, and provide routine health screenings. Additionally, you will promote overall wellness, manage minor injuries and illnesses, and coordinate care for more specialized treatments. Your expertise supports the health and readiness of service members, ensuring their well-being in both operational and non-deployed settings.
