Modern Family Law (MFL) is offering a Residency Program in Washington (Seattle, Bellevue, or Everett) for 3Ls and recent graduates preparing for the February 2027 Bar exam. The role is hybrid, with remote-first elements and in-person court requirements where needed.

Participants will receive mentorship, training in family law and courtroom advocacy, and a clear path to an Associate Attorney position after passing the Bar. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Formación

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Register for the upcoming February or July Bar exam for Washington (no score transfers).
• Attend MPRE and pass before sitting for the Bar exam.
• Timely submission and approval of Character & Fitness application to the State Bar.
• Experience in Family Law Clinics is a plus.
• Mock Trial experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Residency participants will join MFL to receive training in substantive family law and courtroom advocacy.
• Residents will receive mentorship from the MFL Learning & Development department and legal teams.
• Transition to an MFL Associate Attorney position upon passing the Bar.
