Our client, a growing family law practice in downtown Orlando, is seeking an experienced and organized Family Law Paralegal to join its team.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while supporting attorneys throughout the life cycle of a case.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive paralegal support to attorneys handling family law matters.
- Assist with case preparation from initial intake through resolution.
- Draft, format, and prepare legal documents, pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other case-related materials.
- Assist with discovery, including organizing documents, preparing responses, and maintaining discovery files.
- Conduct basic legal research and assist attorneys with case preparation.
- Coordinate and prepare materials for hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files.
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties as needed.
- Assist with scheduling hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings.
- Track deadlines and ensure timely completion and filing of documents.
- Assist attorneys with case management and day-to-day administrative needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information using legal practice management software.
- Handle confidential client information with professionalism and discretion.
- Provide additional administrative and legal support as needed.
Qualifications
- Approximately 2-3 years of family law or legal paralegal experience.
- Strong understanding of family law procedures and terminology.
- Experience supporting attorneys with litigation and case preparation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff.
- Professional, dependable, and client-focused approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard legal technology.
