Job summary

Miami Family Law Group is seeking an experienced Family Law Litigation Paralegal to join our Coconut Grove office. You will work closely with attorneys to support active family law matters from case opening through litigation, drafting pleadings and managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative while delivering accurate work and excellent client service in-office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Strong drafting experience with pleadings, discovery, and related documents.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple active cases and deadlines.
• Proficient written and verbal communication; in-office work in Coconut Grove.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in family law litigation matters
• Draft, prepare, and revise pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, notices, and correspondence
• Prepare financial affidavits and assist with document collection and case organization
• Manage case files, deadlines, court dates, and litigation calendars
• Coordinate filings and service of documents
• Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties in a professional manner
• Assist attorneys with hearing, mediation, deposition, and trial preparation
• Maintain accurate case information and documentation in Clio or other case management systems
• Help ensure files are moving forward efficiently and no deadlines are missed

About the Role
The Family Law Litigation Paralegal will work closely with attorneys to support active family law matters from case opening through litigation. This role requires strong drafting skills, attention to deadlines, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality and client care.

Key Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in family law litigation matters
• Draft, prepare, and revise pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, notices, and correspondence
