FAMILY LAW PARALEGAL

The Company:

Our client is a respected Pearland-based LAW FIRM that is seeking to hire a FAMILY LAW PARALEGAL to join their growing team!

This role is TEMP-to-POTENTIAL-PERM-HIRE with a work schedule of MONDAY-FRIDAY, 8AM-5PM. Hourly compensation available at $25-$27/hr, with some opportunity for OVERTIME HOURS.

The Family Law Paralegal will be responsible for:

• Supporting attorneys in family law cases including divorce, child custody, child/spousal support, and restraining orders
• Drafting legal documents such as petitions, declarations, financial disclosures, and discovery requests
• Conducting client intake and assisting with the preparation of case files
• Managing court filings and calendaring deadlines
• Maintaining accurate and organized case files, databases, and client communications

Requirements:

• 5+ years of proven experience in FAMILY LAW, REQUIRED
• Paralegal Certificate, REQUIRED
