McNary Law, PLLC seeks an experienced Florida attorney to own an active family law caseload from intake to resolution. The attorney will set strategy, meet deadlines, and communicate candidly with clients, with access to experienced colleagues for strategy.

The role emphasizes hearings and trial preparation, with administrative and paralegal support, in a collaborative, family-law-focused boutique setting.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active Florida Bar in good standing.
• At least five years of meaningful litigation experience, with significant Florida family law exposure.
• Ability to independently manage cases, deadlines, and client expectations.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, negotiation, courtroom, and client-counseling skills.
• Professional judgment, reliability, attention to detail, and ownership of results.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and electronic case-management/billing systems.
• Willingness to travel to in-person proceedings in the primary and surrounding counties.

Responsibilities

• Manage family law matters from strategy through settlement, trial, and post-judgment proceedings.
• Develop practical case strategy, identify risks, and advise clients on options and outcomes.
• Prepare for and appear at hearings, mediations, and trials in Florida jurisdictions as required.
• Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement documents.
• Conduct focused Florida legal research and apply relevant rules and statutes.
• Maintain organized files, calendaring, and detailed billing entries.
• Delegate to paralegals and staff, review work, and ensure progress.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Monitor retainers and case scope with the firm’s admin team.
• Contribute to a collegial, solutions-focused work environment.
