Job summary

Jobot, a premier Los Angeles family law firm, is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant / Legal Secretary (no family law experience required). This on-site, permanent role offers a salary between $80,000 and $110,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will support attorneys with case management, pleadings, filings, and discovery, coordinate court deadlines, maintain organized files, and communicate professionally with clients and courts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Legal Assistant / Legal Secretary experience
• Experience in Family Law, Divorce or related matters
• Strong calendaring, court filing, document preparation and client communication
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys with case management, pleadings, correspondence, and discovery preparation
• Coordinate court filings, deadlines, hearings, and client meetings
• Maintain organized physical and electronic legal files
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Draft and proofread legal documents and correspondence
• Assist with billing, time entry, and administrative support functions
