Family law experience is preferred but not required, with a clear path for advancement. The position offers a competitive base salary ($90,000–$120,000) with potential bonuses, signing incentive, and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Illinois law license in good standing.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage family law matters from inception through resolution.
• Advise and communicate regularly with clients.
• Draft pleadings, motions, judgments, orders, discovery, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, hearings, mediation, and trial.
• Attend court appearances, conferences, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively for clients.
• Maintain organized and accurate case files.
• Record billable time consistently.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and leadership.
• Participate in professional development and internal training programs.
