Job summary

Stange Law Firm, PC invites experienced family law attorneys to join our Topeka or Wichita offices. You will manage cases, work directly with clients, negotiate settlements, appear in court, conduct hearings and trials, and help families navigate meaningful legal moments.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Kansas law license in good standing.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Effective courtroom, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage cases, deadlines, and client expectations professionally.
• Family law experience preferred but not required.
• Litigation experience in other practice areas encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Manage family law matters from inception through resolution.
• Advise and communicate regularly with clients.
• Draft pleadings, motions, judgments, and discovery.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Attend court appearances, conferences, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Record billable time according to firm policies.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
• Participate in professional-development and internal training.
