Job summary

Orionplacement represents a respected Washington, DC-based law firm seeking a licensed attorney specialized in family law to lead complex cases, including divorce, custody, child support, and property division. The role requires managing caseload from intake to resolution, drafting pleadings, and representing clients in hearings.

Applicants must have a JD, active DC license, 3+ years of family law experience, strong writing, negotiation, courtroom skills, and leadership potential to mentor

• 3+ years of family law experience with litigation exposure

Responsibilities

• Lead complex family law cases including divorce, custody, child support, property division, and domestic violence matters
• Manage caseload independently from intake to resolution
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
• Represent clients in hearings, trials, depositions, and mediations
• Provide strategic advice and compassionate client service
• Mentor and collaborate with junior attorneys and colleagues
• Contribute to the continued growth of the family law practice

Job description

Pay:

$120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Note:

This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our client's Washington, DCoffice.

Note:

The qualified candidate for this position must have an active DC law license and 3+ years of family law experience.
