Orionplacement in Sacramento, CA is seeking a family law attorney with 0–5 years of relevant experience to join our focused practice. You will represent clients in divorce, custody, support, and property division, draft pleadings, conduct research, and prepare for hearings, mediations, and negotiations.

This on-site role offers growth in a supportive environment with direct collaboration from seasoned attorneys.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 0 to 5 years of family law experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law matters involving divorce, legal separation, child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division.
• Develop case strategies tailored to each client's goals and circumstances.
• Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare for hearings, negotiations, mediations, and litigation.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide clear, practical legal guidance throughout their matters.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and, when appropriate, collaborative divorce and mediation processes.
• Manage assigned cases efficiently while maintaining high standards of legal work and client service.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals to move matters forward effectively.
