Pacific Northwest Family Law seeks an experienced litigator to join our Yakima office. You will take ownership of difficult cases, prepare for court, and advocate for clients within a supportive, bigger firm environment.
You will work with colleagues who have decades of experience in federal service, military practice, and complex family litigation, gaining leadership opportunities and potential partnership as you grow your practice here.
At some point, the next step in a litigation career should mean more than a larger caseload.
You have already proven you can handle difficult clients, contested hearings, ugly facts, and arguments with your name attached to them. But at many firms, becoming more experienced simply means getting more files, more pressure, and more problems to solve on your own.
We think experience should lead somewhere better.
Pacific Northwest Family Law is looking for an experienced litigator to join our Yakima office. We want someone ready for harder matters, more strategic responsibility, and a larger role in the profession and the community.
Our Yakima office is small enough that you can become a visible part of it and take real ownership of difficult cases. At the same time, you will practice as part of a larger firm with more than a dozen attorneys and support from lawyers with decades of experience and backgrounds in federal service, military practice, complex litigation, appellate work, and long careers in family law.
You will not be handed more work and left alone with it. You will have experienced lawyers around you to challenge your thinking, help with unfamiliar problems, and support your growth into greater responsibility, leadership, and partnership opportunities.
Family law experience is valuable, but it is not required. We are interested in prosecutors, defense attorneys, civil litigators, and other lawyers who already know how to prepare for court, manage difficult facts, exercise judgment under pressure, and advocate for clients.
We are generally looking for 3-6 years of legal practice, meaningful litigation and courtroom experience, and Washington bar membership or a path to Washington licensure.
The position includes:
If you are already a capable litigator and are thinking about what the next stage of your career should look like, we would like you to take a closer look at us.
